Builder Beavers

These resourceful beavers use magical wood to build their Dam Network throughout Dapp River and around Liquid Lake. Builders also help True Believers fight against enemy clans all around the Frenzyverse. This includes regular battles with nefarious Skunk Engineers and Corrupted Builders, as well as protecting bridges around the lake from all types of Hackoons.

Beavers have an extensive array of building methods. Some some stick to only one kind of lumber, while others use a wide variety. As with the True Believers, factions of Builders often disagree, squabble, or even full-on fight over the best ways to help the forest grow.

Builders are therefore responsible for constructing Magic Architecture, which includes large hubs to concentrate magic from different types of wood. These nodes of magic are found in the Hasher Mines and Validator Valley. There, Mole Miners and Validation Voles collect magic fees whenever arcane energy flows from the nodes. This often involves channeling magic to True Believers for use in combat or to allied Builders in other parts of the Frenzyverse.

Builders often work with Dev the Duck to design new magic structures and discover novel uses for magic items. Unfortunately, depending the on the materials used and the amount of construction, their activities sometimes cause the lake and river to become congested with logs.

It is still unclear what types of wood will end up being the primary building materials throughout the forest. However, genuine Builders are focused helping the forest develop in ways that are positive and sustainable. With that goal in mind, they continually innovate to find the best materials and methods for a healthy ecosystem.

These swarms of bees rapidly spread Green Magic.

• Builders can cause Viral Swarms by constructing Buzzpools near magic trees. These pools are a special form of Magic Architecture, designed to attract as many bees as possible. Once enough bees arrive, the swarm will generate Green Magic and aid tree growth.

• Bees carrying Green Magic can help heroes and sting enemies, particularly Fudrats. This devastates enemy ranks as the Green Magic spreads and infects other rats nearby.

• Builders continually compete to make the most effective Buzzpools. For example, Aspeth Builders had great success initially, followed more recently by Mapesol Builders. Since the attention of bees in the ecosystem is limited, attracting them is tricky and competition is fierce.

• In addition, Corrupted Builders can cause Viral Swarms to propagate Red Magic by creating Buzzpools beside Fudberries, Fraud Flowers, and Hacktus plants. Corrupted bees will instead attack heroes and allies, spreading Red Magic plagues.

This means that Builders are constantly trying to construct and maintain Magic Architecture, while promoting and guiding Viral Swarms. It's an endless job, but dedicated Builders are ready for the challenge and will never quit.
