Common Enemies
Bad Seeds – Aggressive and deadly ferns that unfurl when Blocker gets too close. They can inflict tremendous damage with their poisonous barbs.
Bag Buzzards – Bag Beavers have trained these troublesome vultures to prey on any animals trapped in Shitcone sludge. Circling above, they look for helpless victims caught in sludge pits, and prey on any those who end up caught in the quagmire.
Bot Roaches – These pesky enemies are usually found in groups and can harm anyone who gets too close.
Bubble Frogs – Able to attack quickly from a distance with their long tongues, caution is paramount whenever Bubble Frogs are in the vicinity. They can also jump long distances to close in on victims unexpectedly. When defeated, they swell and burst, which will seriously hurt those caught in the explosion.
Click Bats – These bats are primarily a distraction that will slow others down or interfere with their movements.
Diphawks – Found across the Frenzyverse, the most basic type of hawk attacks in a standard V-shaped dive. Other varieties have more complex attack patterns, such as a W-shaped dive or a delayed dive.
Drain Vortexes – These dangerous maelstroms found throughout Lockpool Lagoon and Dapp River can suck in victims, completely emptying a magic stash.
Dropossums – These opossums come in good and bad varieties. The good versions may drop a piece of magic wood or even a Gemnut. However, the bad versions only drop Shitcones.
Falcones – These aggressive falcons make their nests in Alt Pines. They love shiny Altcones and also use them to lure unwitting prey.
Flux Geysers – The pressure in these geysers fluctuates wildly, and they can burst without warning or even implode, turning into a Drain Vortex.
Forkupines – These porcupines come in good and bad varieties. Bad Forkupines are enchanted with Red Magic and turn useful magic loot into useless Shitcones. Occasionally, a good Forkupine enchanted with Green Magic can add valuable loot instead.
Fraud Flowers – These beautiful blossoms adorn the landscapes across the Frenzyverse. However, don’t be deceived. If you get too close, the Fraud Flower’s true colors are revealed. These plants will quickly turn from inviting flora into thorny, toxic, and hostile vegetation. Skam Skunks and Bag Beavers love to use them when setting traps. In addition, Corrupted Builders can use Fraud Flowers to create Viral Swarms of Red Magic.
Hacktus – Hackoons often try to trap unwitting forest dwellers in these spikey cactus plants found throughout the plains and desert. In addition, Corrupted Builders can use Hackti to create Viral Swarms of Red Magic.
Hash-hogs - These greedy hedgehogs try to persuade Mole Miners to pursue selfish mining, converting them into Rogue Miners. If they can get more than half to agree, they can temporarily take control of certain parts of the mines.
Herd Sheep – These mountain sheep found in Trader Range vacillate between exhibiting brash aggression and taking flight in sheer terror. When travelling in panicked groups, they can trample victims or push them into hazardous terrain or other enemies.
Honeypot Clams – These aggressive clams chomp down on victims unexpectedly, luring them with a shiny Altcone.
Inflated Zeppelins – Fudrats pilot these massive airships that bombard the forest with Red Columns, causing panic and chaos. However, they are quite vulnerable to Bitnut attacks.
Impermanent Moss – Anyone walking over this slippery moss will lose their footing and quickly slide into other hazards or foes. It can also disappear without warning, allowing victims to plummet helplessly.
Key Gulls – Found throughout to the Alt Coast, Discovery Ocean, and Lockpool Lagoon, these loud, annoying birds are always on the lookout for an unguarded stash key. The gulls get their name from the Forgotten Keys, where they regularly flock to hide their plunder.
Lag Leeches – These slimy, nasty leeches can slow victims down and drain Green Magic.
Lossprey – These large predatory birds are found throughout the Alt Coast and Dapp River. They will dive straight for victims without any warning.
Malicious Lynx – These big cats found are best avoided, and if encountered, you should try to vacate the area as soon as possible.
Malworms – These gigantic worms live all over the Frenzyverse, but especially in the Grifter Glades. They may initially look like big, harmless earthworms. However, with their hostile nature and jagged teeth, they are far from friendly.
Mangrift Trees – These trees found throughout the Grifter Glades release noxious plumes of Red Magic when they come in contact with rotten Shitcone sludge.
Mini Whales – These whales live in the Discovery Ocean and will easily push around smaller animals.
Panic Weasels – These weasels are not actually harmful, but they can latch onto anyone nearby, obstructing movement and making it easier for other enemies to inflict damage.
Peckey Loggers – These naughty woodpeckers can cause Shitcones to fall from trees above. They can also steal unguarded stash keys.
Red Tide – These dangerous pools of water around Lockpool Lagoon are enchanted with Red Magic and can harm anyone who falls in.
Roadfront Runners – These nasty roadrunners dash across the Defi Plains. They use a Gemnut as bait and will switch it out with a cone bag at the last moment.
Rogue Miners – These are the bad versions of Mole Miners. They will toss Shitcones at victims and can freeze a magic stash for short periods of time, hindering certain powers and abilities. They can also collapse mine sections or start riots by selfish mining. Known for causing trouble, they often work together with Hash-hogs and ill-intentioned Forkupines.
Rug Rattlers – These rattlesnakes are plentiful throughout the Defi Plains and should be avoided at all costs. Beware of a random, solitary Gemnut lying on the ground or near a pile or rocks, as a concealed Rug Rattler will often us it as bait for unsuspecting victims.
Shill Crabs – These crabs vary in temperament and may attack or simply annoy those who happen to venture nearby. Some operate kiosks, selling wares which vary wildly in quality.
Simp Shrimp – Found in abundance throughout Discovery Ocean, these tiny crustaceans are generally harmless. However, when gathered in large troupes, they quickly scatter in the presence of whales, chaotically changing the magic configuration of adjacent waters.
Slipeels – These quick and slippery enemies have a nasty bite and can deliver a terrible Red Magic shock.
Spear Phish – These flying fish found throughout various waterways specifically target victims and strike with precision.
Spoof Snails – These poisonous snails project copies of themselves, which can compromise a magic stash. You must destroy the original snail to also destroy the copies.
Spy Files – These very annoying flies can slow victims down and affect their response time when it comes to using abilities or reacting to enemy attacks. They also grant a variety of passive perks to other enemies nearby.
Star Phish – These spiny enemies that can harm anyone who gets too close and steal their stash key.
Vapor Vipers – These shifty snakes found primarily around Dapp River love to ambush victims, appearing and disappearing in clouds of noxious smoke.
Wild Trojans – These angry horses gallop across the Defi Plains and Dao Desert. They can trample victims with brute force, and Lock Riders can mount Wild Trojans, creating a terribly threatening combination. These Hackoons trap victims in an impenetrable lasso of Red Magic, locking them in place and holding them for ransom – or worse.
