Skam Skunks
Found throughout the Frenzyverse, you should be able to smell these foes from a mile away. However, they are both pungent and crafty, often showing up unexpectedly to cause trouble and mayhem. They also love to rendezvous with Bag Beavers at Ponzi Pond, luring unwitting forest dwellers into nefarious traps.
- Skammers – These shifty skunks are a constant source of woe in the Frenzyverse. When their fast talking doesn't work, they quickly turn to violence.
- Imposters – These shapeshifters use Red Magic to transform and impersonate others. For example, they can appear as Builder Beavers or True Believers to launch surprise attacks. If left undetected, they can even infiltrate parts of the Dam Network and Hopium Hideout. They frequently collaborate with Bandits and Saboteurs to launch ambushes.
- Snipers – These deadly sharpshooters target their victims from a distance and can pick them off with quick shots and alarming accuracy. They also provide cover and support for other factions, especially Bandits, Brigands, and Outlaws.
- Engineers – These clever skunks set and conceal a wide variety of advanced magic traps, often working closely with Corrupted Builders.
- Saboteurs – In addition to setting traps, these advanced engineers also take on offense roles in combat. Calculating and formidable, Saboteurs coordinate with all members of enemy clans to accomplish their diabolical plans.
- Ringleaders – These brutal enforcers have expert control of Red Magic and direct gangs of Skam Skunks. They often lead attacks or supervise setting traps and ambushes.
- The Butcher – A depraved mastermind leading the Skam Skunks, the Butcher takes pleasure in robbing and slaughtering helpless victims. He often lets them amass as much magic loot as possible before striking, leaving them plundered and lifeless. The Butcher has a masterful control of Red Magic, which uses to conceal himself, move quickly, and attack without mercy.
Many Scam Skunks also work with unscrupulous Dropossums to operate a long-running con. The skunks ask for a deposit of magic wood, promising that they will then drop twice as much wood back in return. However, the skunks and opossums just pocket the wood, leaving the original owner empty-handed.
